The first "magnetic disc" recorder has fabricated by Max Kohl in Germany, in 1921. So, nowadays the magnetic disk technology is 90 years old! In these days, we are using this technology too. Think of the floppy disc, or "Hard Disc Drive" in your PC. Of course, the Hard Disc is contains digital dates, but it is a "magnetic disk" too, like the diktafon machine in this picture.
